unterschrift/subtitles
unterschrift/subtitles
Does anyone know how to make subtitles WITHOUT the effect that the measures are changing?

Re: unterschrift/subtitles
Are you talking about variing font size depending on the length of your text?
Then my suggestion would be the following:
- The width of the image area you use should be more than would be required for the longest possible text, e.g. 200%.
- For centered text, that's all. If you want to align to the left side, simply drag a Zoom object into the text and set its horizontal center to 0%. With a value of 100% it will be aligned to the right edge of the image area.
- I recommend to create a Macro from that text (including image area and zoom object), so you can use it as template wherever it is desired.

Yes, the idee is that the size of the text remains the same. It would be nice if its possible to
enter a font size like 12pt or 14pt

Re: unterschrift/subtitles
For an application like m.objects, where the screen layout must not change at all when changing the output resolution (e.g. HD Monitor / 4K Screen), the point size of the font is meaningless, as it has to change from case to case.
So the above mentioned method is the appropriate one and will do exactly what you desire.

Dear Steffen
Thanks for the swift reply. It didn't cross my mind but indeed meaningless to set point font sizes
