Hallo,
I have some problems in the last build V8 . The export of a video (MP4, AVI, ...) results in a black screen or failure, although the video's play normally in the program. Reinstalling is nog a solution.
Who nows what goes wrong?
Txs a lot.

Re: Video export failure
Dear Mr. De Bruyne,
this seems not to be a common problem, and I doubt that it has something to do with the latest Build 2401 of m.objects, as there are no changes concerning the video export function compared to preceeding Builds of v8.
Please quote the exact text of the error message you get when the export fails.
Thank you.
Best regards
Steffen Richter

Re: Video export failure
Hello Steffen,
Txs, I get no errors. The rendering just blocks or the result is a (short) black video.
I try to install the latest Version on a other Machine.
Is it possible that it has something tot do with the GPU (settings).
Much Greetings and a fine New Year !
Patrick

Re: Video export failure
Dear Mr. De Bruyne,
thank you for the further information.
I'm not sure what could cause those problems. Could you please tell me a phone number and a time when I can reach you while you are sitting in front of your machine? Thank you.
Regards
Steffen Richter

Re: Video export failure
Hello Steffen,
Txs a lot and I also think it isn't in fact a Problem in the Program itself (Still Great Stuff by the Way!).
I will first try to make some other test video's on another Machine.
On a Win10 "Kitchen PC (not Graphic Top - Win10 64 bit - I3 Core - 4Gb Ram - 3,10 Ghz)" I get also strange rendering as in screenshot.
Very strange cause I never really had this Problems in the previous versions.
Much Greetings,
Patrick

Re: Video export failure
Hi Folks,
I had the same problem with video export. M.objects came up with an assertion (see snapshot). As the m.objects SW has not changed since last successful export I checked the lately installed SW. Actually my anti-virus SW was updated with ransomware protection. So I've added alle exe from m.objects program folder to the list of "good" applicatons and it seems to work now. Maybe just a coincindence but the assertion may lead to the real problem.
Best regards
Holger

Re: Video export failure
Greetings!
I have got the same problem. My first use was Version 8.
In the bottom-left corner it says "rendering completed".
In the time line, Hüllkurve, it says "rendering", forever.
When playing, the screen stays black.
Putting mobjects exes in the antivirus exceptions list does not help.
Thanks for any clarification,
Cornelis
