In the latest version (V8.0 2400) the "turn off" function of a track doesn't seem to work: I still can drag a image from the lightbox into that
track.
Playing this the image is indeed not visible but, as I mentioned, the track is not empty.

To add
I just discovered when making a new show the turning of works only once, So when I insert a second image I can drag it into the turned of track

Hello Henk,

I think that's a new feature and not a bug
As described in readme.txt:

Individual elements (such as texts) can now also be stored on locked (muted) tracks.

If you start a show by draging a couple of images into timeline - the behavior is as it was in ver. 7.5 - the images are only placed into the "open" tracks. But with ver.8 it is possible to place individual ( = single) images into muted tracks.
